the biggest issue seems to be player management. Losing Bryant and Mika were
crippling. It's possible some of the other players would have become extremely solid players for BYU as upper classmen. I have it on good authority that Mika left specifically because of Rose. Not sure about Bryant. I could be wrong, but the turnover at BYU over the last 5 years seems extreme.

The Jimmer teams wouldn't have won like they did either without defense. They were more than just offense.
