The problem with the basketball team is they just don't have much talent.  The Rose recruiting pool is essentially Idaho, Utah and AZ.  Not that these states don't produce good players but where is the wide net to get the best players?  This is just lazy recruiting.  Then, when BYU does get a 4 star player, they aren't being developed and they under perform which is coaching.  Remember, Coach Rose is well paid as a coach (okay, maybe not like top programs but he isn't coaching for free either).

I understand that some fans are saying to give Rose a break due to the other previous good years he has had.  However, look at what BYU will have next year and does next year's team with everyone coming except Childs (NBA) strike fear in the other teams?  Does it get most of the fans excited?  This was supposed to be the year with a veteran class that was going to do great things.
