Pretty brave the students like Gee who spoke about their BYU experience. Also impressed with their faith and dedication to the church.

Very impressed BYU administration is working so hard in their efforts to create dialogue with the LGBTQ community.

One point well made by the writer is something we just have to accept as a reality and ignore those on the far right and left who discourage these discussions.

Personally I don't know how the LDS church will ever officially support gay marriage within its membership. I could see transgender issues where medical transformation would be considered enough (if it's not already in special circumstances).

It's just great to see the effort. Critics can snipe all they want but the reality is far different.
