Of course they are on the same level as the long-term dopers. My point isn't
to equate them but to just say that I don't get excited by the Pats because their accomplishments are cheapened.
And as I stated before...the Pats ARE good. They are great. Brady still has to make the passes he makes. Players still have to make tough catches. They're very good. The problem is that after spygate and deflategate, there will always be a question in peoples' minds.
And to say that they have been good recently without any allegations doesn't mean anything. No allegations doesn't mean not cheating. Maybe they haven't been cheating anymore. Maybe they have. The fact that they were caught cheating means they're willing so the question is always there. That's not exciting to me.
