Stating something he thought was true isn’t ripping at all.
Take Ula for example. If he doesn’t get in due to grades and I say, “it’s too bad he didn’t make it in” am I ripping on him? No! While 6’7 did make an assumption that was wrong it wasn’t ripping on him. People on this board know how hard it is to go to BYU and speculated. To say he didn’t get in isn’t criticizing him at all. The assumption was wrong but nobody said his grades suck or anything. They just guessed they weren’t good enough for BYU who has a high academic standard.
