I heard it straight from the ‘horses mouth’. I was a young married living in a ward just west of the U of U after we graduated. An individual in that ward was on a missionary split when Ted Bundy was being taught the missionary discussions.
At the end of the discussion, he (my friend) was asked to say the closing prayer. He said he tried to pray but nothing would come out of his mouth. He sat there for probably a full minute and couldn’t say anything and finally the only thing that came out of his mouth was words to the effect “Lord please bless the wicked that they will receive their proper justice”. He said he felt very awkward and embarrassed after the prayer but that’s all the would come out of his mouth.
He obviously was very shocked when later on Bundy was arrested and convicted of all those murderers, but was able to connect the dots from his prayer.
