Here's my updated projections for games played through 2/10/19. NCAA released their "top 16" rankings a few days ago and I have re-evaluated my selections here based upon that release. It appears as if the committee is relying VERY heavily on NET rankings (much more than how they treated RPI) while still placing heavy emphasis on Q1 wins (just as last year). We'll see if that continues down through the bubble or not.

Nebraska is an interesting case study as a team w/ several good wins and no bad losses whatsoever. However, the sheer number of losses they have keeps them out of the field. As for WCC teams, as of right now USF would be just below Toledo and Saint Mary's would be in the next group after that. I give USF around a 9% chance at making the tournament and Saint Mary's about a 1% chance. I'm guessing USF gets a 3 seed in the NIT and St. Mary's gets a 4 seed. Creighton (7th team out) is about the bottom of the list for teams still having a realistic shot at an at-large bid. If BYU were to win the conference tournament they'd likely be a 13 seed as their resume is comparable to that of Vermont, Yale, and Old Dominion. They are on the NIT bubble right now.
