We were driving through Southern Utah down to Arizona to visit my brother during Halloween, and I was driving to get some hours in. The speed limit was already 80 and, as we were going down a hill, I didn't realize but my foot was kind of on the gas. We were going 90 mph before I noticed. I looked around at the people inside the 2004 green Camry. Everyone was on their phone, not paying attention at all. So I slowly started applying more gas, realizing this was a great opportunity to hit 100. No joke, as soon as I hit 100, my mom looked up from her phone and said "RoyalCoug..." in that way that Mom's do. I quickly applied the break and slowed to 80.
I've been close since, but nothing as good as being in the same car as my parents.
