think its okay to have an older man that interested in their young daughter, he takes her on a "day trip" overnight, doesn't come back for days, and they don't call the police for that long??? Can we say naive?!! I know it was the 70's and people didn't think or realize this stuff happened but there were SO MANY red flags in that situation that you'd just have to be plain stupid not to know something was wrong with any adult male getting that close with an adolescent daughter.
