Now the WCC is above the MWC for sure but it was not that way when BYU was in it. The MWC used to be a legit conference. They would get 3-4 teams into the tournament consistently. On ESPN.com it was listed with the major conferences at one point. They never had a team as strong as Zaga but was stronger overall.

Now it’s a turd but last decade the MWC was much better then what the WCC is today.
