It’s very similar at my company, for my function (Finance) as well as other
functions. Last year we stopped going to BYU, didn’t recruit on campus for the first time in decades. It was mostly for the reasons you state, plus we’re based in the Eastern US so the expense of recruiting at BYU is high relative to most other campuses. I would add that the diversity concerns around BYU were mostly about the lack of women recruits.

I will say that BYU grads are generally well regarded here, which is why we recruited there for so long, but it didn’t survive the last round of cuts.

If it’s any consolation, other campuses we’ve dropped in recent years include Duke, Northwestern, Cal Berkley, and Texas.
