The implication being the disparity in FTs favoring BYU is due to the last minute intentional fouling LMU did to try to extend the game. Pretty sure LMU fouled BYU 3x in the last minute iirc, which basically covers the difference in FTAs. I thought the reffing was fine overall, but LMU was unusually aggressive and physical on D, and it’s not hard to see why some felt they got away with a few fouls, especially considering how WCC games are typically called.
