I’m not sure where you got you info, but most TVs manufactured in the last ~5 years or so DO have a digital output. Heck, my tv from 9 years ago had one, and at the time it was not top of the line by any means. Now, 5.1 may be another story, but that will depend on your source. You have a number of options really, but don’t just assume you can’t hook up to the Sonos bc your tv doesn’t output 5.1. Many output at least 2.0 through those outputs.
