I'm frequently asked to see kids who have reactions to vaccines. Most of them have either a rash
or nondescript symptoms (fatigue, low fever, headache). Unless there is danger that they may have anaphylaxed (which is almost never), we just give them the next doses, usually on the same day again. They do fine almost every time. Those who don't do fine typically have the same nondescript symptoms, for which we see them right away and provide reassurance that they are not having an allergic reaction.

We used to do allergy testing to vaccines, but stopped 10+ years ago because the evidence was so poor regarding test results predicting who would have a reaction, most of which are not allergic reactions.

We usually only see them once or twice. It's mostly about communication. People get stressed about vaccines but they are really safe.
