I asked somebody in admissions a few years ago. They said they weigh higher

members who live east of the Mississippi.

There were no weighting differences between Utah, California or any other state West of the Mississippi.

Not true. Know for a fact. At least as of a few years ago BYU did give a slight

Interesting, I knew two non members from out of state at BYU. They applied because of the conservative environment
