I am a proud alumnus of both BYU and BYUI.
But I have been embarrassed by my assosciation with arrogant BYU alumni far more than I have by my assosciation with an institution that has a less than stellar academic reputation. If you are prone to the ignorant, condescending comments towards BYUI that many on CB are, please remember that it does not reflect well on yourself or BYU.
