The first night we moved in I woke up thinking there was an earthquake. Turns out it was just a heavy freight train that no one told us about.

We lived there for three years and were so familiar with it that we would not wake up when it went past.

Long story short, it would have to be a fairly large earthquake to wake us up in the night.
