Agree. Higher high, but not as consistent, not even close. GU has advanced to
the Round of 32 or beyond 17 of the last 20 seasons, and will have made the NCAA Tournament 21 straight times in a couple weeks. 9 times to the Sweet 16 or beyond in the past 20 seasons as well.

UNLV made it to the tournament 9 straight times from 1983-1991. The closest appearance on either side of their run was 1977 and 1998. Their next NCAA Tourney win after 1991 was not until 2007 (no wins since 2008).

UNLV's run was extraordinary for its incredible highs in a condensed period of time. Gonzagas run is incredible because of their unmatched staying power outside of the super elite of the Big 6 leagues.

Dellavedova played at SMC (Patty Mills is another good one from SMC).

I don't recall who all GU has put in the NBA during their run, but it's a lot more than 3. Olynyk, Sabonis, Collins, Turiaf, Dickau, Morrison, Daye, Frahm, and Pargo. There are others. It looks like Hachimura and Clark will be next.
