doesn't bother me, but yeah. People of all races and cultures dress up like American patriots and act out various American culturisms but twisting it to fit a hip hop culture. I had the thought, if a Black person can play George Washington and rap as Thomas Jefferson, why can't a white person act in The Color Purple (saw a clip from that play is why it was on my mind.).

I'm on the side of appropriation/schmoppriation. Let people act out and enjoy whatever culture they want to as long as it isn't overtly mocking it. But the standard should definitely apply both directions.
