There are many ways to evaluate coaching effectiveness. I am not in the know enough to evaluate a lot of it. But I look at a few things. One is, are we a better team today than we were at the beginning of the season?

We beat Utah soundly. Now Utah is 3rd in the weak PAC12. Has Utah improved? Could we beat Utah today?

We beat USU. They are now tied for 1st in the MWC. Are they better than they were when we played them? Could we beat them today?

I just don’t see any improvement on our team this year. They show a few flashes but it isn’t sustained. By the end of the season and the conference tournament, they should be peaking, not collapsing down the stretch of games and doing what they did in Vegas.

I think this year was a combination of marginal talent, poor coaching, and poor team chemistry.
