People who like to be able to tell others what to do and can’t stand it when others don’t “pull their weight” or “ruin it for everyone“ love them.

In this case my sister-in-law is probably being pushed around a bit. I can sort of take or leave HOAs as a whole, don’t really care either way. If wisely administered they’re probably great. They probably are very regularly not wisely administered however.
