After years of season tickets I only attended two home games this year. More than the money, it wasn't worth the time and effort. Rose's staff does not inspire any confidence for year-to-year improvement. The steady exodus of the best players to marginal leagues kills enthusiasm for the next season before it begins. The contract extension sends all the wrong signals about willingness to make needed changes.
I can cheer for a program that is getting the best out of the kids who decide to come play for BYU, giving them a chance to fulfill potential and sometimes exceed expectations. So much harder to support a program that is consistently letting those kids down.
