He's not a home run threat according to his stats or film. He's not the 20 carry/game guy so many think he instantly is. He's never even had 100 in a season. He's not backed by anything saying he's immediately the best at any one given thing. Why he couldn't stick on the field? I don't know. There are a number of factors. "Well, he's athletic." Do I want him to join the program? Absolutely. He's a good enough prospect to add to help boost the unit. Maybe he was in the dog house or maybe he couldn't learn the playbook really well. I don't know. He has a shot to do good things. But let's not pretend he's some star. So many bad assumptions here that people don't want to get into admitting.
