...he hurts the image of the program like he did, comes back on full scholarship but is a fraction of the player he once was and at the same time costs the school a scholarship that they need. If it was me I don't think my guilty conscience would allow me to either keep a scholarship that costs some other player his and then on top of it not play very hard or very well to boot.
For starters I would be so happy to be back on the team that I'd be playing my tuchus off to make it up to my coach and teammates and to show my gratitude for taking me back. But then on top of that, if I held a scholly while another kid didn't get his because of me, I don't know if I could in good conscience keep mine.
