I loved watching him win all those games - more than any other QB to play at BYU.
I loved hearing him shout to the fans in Cowboy stadium they were going to beat Oklahoma and he was right.
I loved watching him beat the yewts 2 out of 3 times he played them, and I even secretly loved his post game comments after beating them the last time. We all know he was right, after all.
I love how he has battled back from addiction and public humiliation. Having recently lost a brother to the same thing I know how difficult his road has been.
And today I loved seeing him here at the spring game supporting his former team and greeting his many fans.
I loved watching him standing with Zach Wilson the entire game - watching them talk and laugh and enjoy their special connection as BYU quarterbacks.
Finally, I loved taking his picture with my son and then explaining to my son afterwards who he is - one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play for BYU, and o e of my personal favorites.
Thank you Max Hall for all the great memories, and for staying close to the program and to your many fans. I am and will always one of your biggest fans and am still cheering for you.
