the value of their assets as they make roster decisions in the off season. I'm not a "Jimmer was never given a fair shot and he deserves 30 minutes a game" guy, but given the nature of his contract and timing of signing him, I just don't understand having him sit on the bench. If he plays great, awesome. If he plays crappy, awesome, better odds for a top pick and you know you don't need to pick up his 2nd year option.
