Nah, I'm comparing BYU to the potential they had at the time. A NC and a Cotton Bowl capping off a 14 win season were
great. Dropping 2 games early and going to Vegas bowls when peers, and lesser programs, are reaching higher heights is far from great.

That truck’s manufacture date was about the last time BYU football gave us something worth being excited about.

3 seasons knowing that the Vegas bowl was a certainty by week 3 and another season of losses to TCU and Utah.
