Certainly the kind of man and leader who would qualify as a BYU head coach.
My guess is the Board of Trustees will take a particularly assertive role in the next basketball head coach hiring. Evans is the kind of candidate the BOT would take seriously.
Someone who would consider the BYU job more than professional advancement, but who would be committed to the larger purpose rather than considering the job a stepping stone.
