Jimmer definitely got beat early in the game on defense, but his later rotations and effort were there and generally effective.
I feel like he was in a no-win situation with the crowd and their expectations that caused everyone on the floor to key on him, from the referees to the Jazz players, and even some of his own teammates who wondered why this bench player was being cheered louder than anyone else. Jimmer was obviously pressing to score and feed the fans' excitement. I hope things quiet down today and that he can get into a normal game without as much fanfare in Phoenix on Wednesday. When the pressure drops a bit and he feels more comfortable with his teammates, I expect him to find his groove and be a strong rotation player for the Suns.
