Jimmer is one of the best role models I could ever ask for my kids and myself. Those that play sports and those that don't. I have never, ever heard Jimmer complain. I have always seen him smile, face the media, his haters, and every challenge he has faced and just gone to work to overcome it.

He has risen to the top of every league he has played in except one the NBA.

His last achievement to conquer is the NBA. I still believe his inability to reach the NBA goal has been more about opportunity and situation than it does about his skill as a player. I have always believed he could play and belongs in the NBA. Because he easily dismantles every other league, so where else does he fit? It has to be the NBA. I truly believe this time he sticks and we will see him do some amazing things. He is such an incredible person, athlete and example of chasing your dreams and never giving up no matter what you face.

His situation reminds me a lot of Alex Honnold free climbing El Capitan. In a Ted talk he talked about how he had free climbed Half Dome with without preparing and just going after it. He found out he got to a few places where he started to panic and knew that he wouldn't be able to do that with El Capitan. So he took the next 5 years to learn everything he could about the mountain and learn where he was weakest and make those strengths so that he could eventual climb the mountain El Capitan without any question and it would be easy for him. That's what he did.

I see Jimmer doing the same. He has climbed every league he can...he went to China to study and improve his game and to become better so he could return to the NBA and make an easy transition back to the league. He will. I saw him put a move on Donavan Mitchel last night that was incredible and Jimmer almost hit he floater that he makes 90% of the time. I saw him flying around on defense in the 2nd half causing havoc. Jimmer is going to be just fine.
