Call me a Flames homer, but I honestly think McDavid is part of the problem in Edmonton.
I have read and heard rumors that he is a tough guy to play with. And listening to his complaining at the end of this season one can easily see why. The Oilers "Good ole boys club" has definitely screwed the team over, but McDavid came with incredibly high expectations, he has easily shown himself to be one of the elites of the game and a generational player as far as goal scoring and play making abilities are concerned. What he has not done is show that he can be a great leader and get other players to play to the best of their abilities.

Getting rid of Nugent-Hopkins or whoever else falls on his Yewt list is not going to change the team chemistry. McDavid needs to figure out how to lead and not throw others under the bus if they want to turn their season around.
