Something terribly unfortunate happened to her a couple of days ago. It’s been a tough day for our family waiting to know why she won’t wake up while being completely paralyzed with fear.

Some years back, during the Oklahoma game at Jerry’s World that Max and the team miraculously won, my incredible sister went there and stood standing-room only for hours cheering on BYU. When she wasn’t able to sit for a game, she simply took what she could get... even in a palace like Jerry’s World where almost everyone else is sitting in their luxurious padded seats. She didn’t care. She may have been the roudiest person there. She has told stories about how she was surrounded by Sooners fans completely dumbfounded at how she was so optimistic from the very beginning. She may have been the only BYU fan in that whole section, but man did they know and HEAR that they had a Cougar fan among them! She drove all the way from Colorado and back over a single weekend to get back by Monday. She is amazing. The world deserves more of my sister’s personality in it. The world deserves more of the girl who will sit up cheering BYU standing-room only surrounded by opposing fans. I know I don’t need to tell this story, but I just want everyone to catch a glimpse of her and how great she is for our family using something about her that most here can relate to. This is in the BYU Football category because I believe the best thing about our football fanbase is that we stick up for our own.

I don’t know that I’ve ever asked CB for a collective prayer, it’s not really my thing... but, if you all could pray for her tonight... she really needs it. It’s been a tough few years for her. I don’t know what’s going to happen and I’m scared to death for her.
