I commuted from Riverside County - Murrieta area, into Orange County every day for about 4 years, about an 1.5 hrs each way 5 days a week driving the Ortega Highway through Cleveland National Forest. I got used to it, but also wanted to buy a trusty car because there was no cell coverage either. I ended up buying a Camry and it was very reliable for me. Never had an accident or breakdown.
