"Reliable" is not what it used to be. Meaning most cars today, even the "crappy" ones, are more reliable than
some of the best cars from 20 years ago.
Almost all automobiles today are great. There are of course outlier, lemon cars but that has more to do with the individual car not the auto manufacturer, make, or model.
