He said during spring training how he is embarrassed if he ever strikes out and that players need to take more pride in not striking out. He had more 3-strikeout games the first 2 weeks of this season than he had the past 2 years combined. His dairy free diet seems to have backfired. Or maybe his eyesight is going.
