The history of charging for baggage started when gas prices were over $4 per

gallon. So, several times now gas has drop around $2 per gallon. Yet, they didn't axe the baggage charge. I spoke to an airline guy about this. He just laughed and said, "yeah, the airlines are making a killing by charging." No surprise there but it's a bunch of crap.
