I saw him play twice against top flight competition (Rancho Christian, Corona Centennial) and came away totally unimpressed. I'm sure he's a wonderful kid but he is definitely not a loss if Pope has made that decision. He was a wide body, but slow of foot, never got more than six inches off the ground, nice touch around the basket, however. If Pope is truly going to go worldwide to find players it should't be too difficult to find an upgrade in talent for this spot.
