Eh, not all 4 seeds are created equal
There is a reason teams wanted to play Denver and avoid Houston. Houston has injuries with CP3 and Capela most of the year, but they’re still obviously the 2nd best team in the west.
Yeah, DM deserves some heat for being inefficient, but nobody was efficient tonight. Joe Ingles was bad, Favors decided he had a green light for 3 tonight, bad Crowder was back, Korver is still injured, and Thabo is having a rough go at it. Ricky hit 17 tonight, but a floor spacer he is not.
Utah needed, NEEDED, Jae, Joe, Thabo, Korver, and Royce to step up in a big way for Utah to have any chance in this series and so far the only guy who has made any real impact is Royce who scored 17 tonight.
So yeah, Mitchell gets some of the blame, but the role players are getting beat badly so far.
