When you focus on how many stars are behind their name, and when the culture and philosophy is lacking, you get "me first" players instead of team first. You get what we've seen at BYU for the last couple of years with players leaving early for a shot at something much less satisfying than an NBA contract.
It's all about culture and philosophy centered around development and passion. Utah State gets it. And they are enjoying the fruits that come from it.
