My blood donation story and why my BYU fandom is hard-wired.
About 15 years ago I went to donate blood. (1800 miles from Utah.) The phlebotomist wasn't very experienced and was having a hard time hitting my vein. As she was working away she said "I'm not sure where to insert it. I have two choices. You have this little blue Y in there."

She went to get a supervisor. I heard her specifically say only "I need help with a donor over here." The Supervisor came over and gave it a try and after about 30 seconds said "It's funny. You have a blue Y in your arm."

There it is from two witnesses. It is part of my physical make-up. I couldn't be anything else.
