I notice some of the workout bros on CB talking about the 1000 lb club more over the past couple years. But the only other time I had ever seen it was in high school. We had a 800, 900, and 1000 lb club but we had to bench, squat, and clean our way into the club. Deadlift would have made it easier obviously. So on our wall, the 1000 lb club was very small. A few more in 900 lbs and even more in 800 lbs.
Anyhow, being how I only saw the 1000 lb club in high school and now I'm seeing it all over the board the past couple years, is this something new that has come out because of crossfit or other new workout routines?
