Well that's a no brainer.
The pursuit of six packs abs can also be unhealthy. There are any number of negative consequences that come from having lower than normal levels of body fat.
So--both sides are flawed. You can have a fat person lifting 300 pounds that's unhealthy and you can have a person with abnormally low levels of body fat with abs. It's not that simple.
Are there more fat people that can bench 300 pounds than people with abs that sacrifice health to have abnormally low levels of body fat? I have no idea. I do agree that there are more fat people than super skinny people--so maybe that's where you're making the jump but that's not what is in the poll. The poll implies 'all else equal.'
All else equal, I'd choose power (lift 300 pounds) over abs (aesthetics).
Now if the poll quantified (or attempted to quantify) the power of having six pack abs, then I'd argue that core strength is more important than chest/arms.
