One thing I learned recently about IPOs is that it is common
for the business insiders to sell a decent amount of stock once they are legally allowed to. So often the stock takes a pretty big dip when these shares are sold and the big share holders try to realize their profit.

That's probably oversimplified but it seems like it might be smart to at least wait until after the company insiders are allowed to sell their shares.
