And that is probably why he is retiring with a neck "injury". When a scholarship athlete has to retire before their eligibility expires because of an injury they get to be put on a full ride scholarship to finish school that does not count against the scholarships for the sport they were playing. So Mo retiring with an injury frees up a scholarship but also lets him stay on scholarship.
