I used to think like you. Then I became a grown up. Being a fanboy is fun until
you have your heart stomped on to the tune of 9 straight seasons of losses to your rival. Being able to rationally weigh probabilities is both a self-defense mechanism and a clearer way of thinking. I hope we beat them. I rationally think we CAN beat them. I rationally think that we will likely not beat them in the first game of the season.
