Not by choice though.
Three years ago I took a new job. With that I needed to get new life insurance. I was covered by a group policy at my old employment.
In the process applying for insurance, within my health screening they found I have a chronic form of leukemia.
I was denied health insurance as a result.
I now only have basic coverage through a group policy at work. It’s only worth 200,000.
