because his team has become freaking dominant. But his upbringing and his path are nothing short of remarkable. People can hate GS, but it's not like they were some bought dynasty or something. They drafted Green, Curry, and Thompson and put the rest of the pieces together with good trades.
I can see people hating them once KD joined, sure. But there's no reason to have anything but respect for Curry's game. He spent, what 4-5 seasons on a crappy team with not much prospect of winning before finally putting it all together? The due is an all-timer and he doesn't have a single physical attribute (other than quickness) that gives him an edge.
I respect his game more than the 6' 10" guards who never have to even risk getting their shot blocked on the court. It's night and day as far as skill is concerned.
