My son has a laptop he bought from Walmart about a year ago.

He quit using it because he said it is so slow. I tried to help him today (which is kind of a joke).

Looks to me to be over run with viruses or malware. Not sure how to even bypass all the pop ups to install Norton or McAfee or whatever. Any suggestions on the best approach?

What is the best virus software to install, assuming I can even gain control of the darn thing.
