was a defense this bad in all of baseball since at least before the Mariners had a team. I honestly don't think it's hyperbole to say they have the worst defense ever. Bullpen is really bad.

Rotation isn't great, but you have a bunch of soft tossing soft contact pitchers with a historically bad defense that makes them look a lot worse. They need 1 more guy though. Kikuchi, Gonzales, Leake and Leblanc are a pretty good 2-5. Add an ace and the rotation is good if they have a good defense. Swanson and Felix just aren't MLB starters though.
