I watched the first little bit but stopped watching. Did the mysteries of the "universe" ever get resolved? Like the white walkers? Bran's (I think) magical powers, winter coming, The faceless people?

It seemed like a lot of magic was being built up. Was it resolved or abandoned? The reason I ask is that it seems like people are just talking about the bad character development but not much about the world.
